OUR APPROACH
Building a strong college application story requires time and intentional planning—it can’t be rushed or effectively done starting in 11th grade. The journey begins with early academic and career exploration, selecting the right high school courses, and gaining meaningful real-world experiences through jobs, community service, and extracurricular activities. We guide students in developing essential skills like executive functioning, time management, and effective study habits—qualities that colleges truly value.
Part of this preparation includes understanding that some colleges may review a student’s social media presence, especially if something in their application raises questions. We help students become mindful of their online footprint to prevent any unintended concerns.
Our work with students uncovers their unique strengths, interests, and values while helping them choose courses that set a clear path forward. We also assess whether the SAT or ACT better fits their learning style and cognitive strengths.
It’s important to note that this program is not a college admissions service—we don’t write essays, review applications, or recommend specific colleges. Instead, I collaborate with trusted college advisors and am happy to recommend one when the time is right.
